Final Project
Cooperated with Yanfang, we created a Scratch game with Makey Makey to facilitate the mathematics education in elementary school to help students to learn solid geometry more effective. To help the students to develop more direct recognition about different solid geometry objects, we use Makey Makey to connect six objects to match with the six types of geometry we would like to introduce to the students. When the students touch with the six objects, the programming will be triggered and the main page will jump to the introduction of each type of the geometry. In the introduction page of each type of geometry, there is an intersection of each three-dimensional model. There are also some other realistic examples to help them learn more about solid geometry in real life. If given more time, we would reduce the wires exposed outside and change the ground to a bracelet to help the students to learn easily through our project.
